o happy day

I am so excited! I was actually able to post a new blog on xanga today!!! Xanga is a great blogger, but it is NOT designed for slower than the slowest dial up internet! But it worked today!!! YEAAAA. Maybe Macapa is catching up with technology...yea how bout no. :)

Anyways- hmmm what have I been doing since April 16th, 2006 when I last posted a blog. Well, besides everything....lol... The biggest "thing" (if you can call it a thing) is getting packed to come home; for good. holy cow I NEVER knew just how hard it is to pack your life into 2 suitcases but it is NOT easy! Be thankful if you never have to do it. It is not as easy as it seems! I nearly started crying out of frustration! :P But there are some good things to having to do this...I just haven't figured them out yet! (lol) I'll get it. I'm just glad I have 31 days to figure it out and I'm not leaving tomorrow.

Aside from packing which really takes up most of my life at the moment, we have been helping house a ywam medical team that is here for a health impact. They aren't staying here all the time, which really is good because we could really get in each other's hair! But they've been here on and off starting at the end of June. It's so cool because we've had so many different cultures in our house. We've had Brazilians, Kiwi's (which is what New Zealander's are really called....reason being b/c their country bird used to be that...ha! I bet you didn't know that!) Netherlander's, Canadians and Americans here! It really has been fun. I leard how to say "Are you going to swim" in dutch...swima? hahaha I am serious though. Not sure on the spelling of it, but that is how it's said! :)

I really have enjoyed the time we've had here. I have made some wonderful friends, and I honestly will miss them so much. It's such a strange feeling to have lived in a place that no one knows about except my family. I'm really NOT making it up though!! :)

Well, I think that is all for now. HOPEFULLY...the internet will let me do this again before I come home! Ha! we'll see....:)

Tchau for now...God bless!

my current favorite song...

Turn it all down

Tune it all out

Just you and me

Away from the crowds

Away from the noise

Is where I wanna be

If I had my way

I would stop this day

So I could worship you

And keep this world at bay

There I’d stay

I wanna be right by your side

Cause you are the light in my life

And all I want to do

Is give this life to you

Jesus forever.

I’ll let it all go

The things that I hold

That bring me down

You’re life to my soul

I’m more than I know

You’ve turned me around

oh my word.......

I am officially the WORST blogger/poster in the entire cyber world. I have no idea why it's so hard for me to write, but it is. And it's not for lack of things to talk about. Oh, can I find things to talk about. (or in this case...write about) I just, don't. So, for the few of you that are faithful to my xanga, thank you! And a million apologies. I will try ever so hard to write um, more oftem then never. :)

So, hang in here with me, and maybe you will actually get something out of my posts. :) Yea um, doubting that but whatever; I'll do my best. Easter is like, tomorrow! Wow. I have been "oocfe" for 3 years now! (oocfe= out of country for easter...lame I know, sorry) The thing that still strikes me is that Easter is not a big deal here. Like, people get off from work for good friday, but NOT Easter!!!!  They focus more on the Death then they do on the fact that Jesus ROSE from the dead! I mean c'mon! Where is the hope in "Oh Jesus died for you" woooooww...that def. is wooing me to want to know Him more. I wanna know a Jesus that is Real; ALIVE today. Part of the beauty of what He did on the cross is that He Rose again. That's what takes me....and that's why LOVE being loved by Him. oookaaay..,, I totally am done preaching. :) It has just been on my mind and so I thought I'd see what you think. (like Momma Gail!)

Well, tis the hour for I to bid thee farewell! Hope ya'll have an AWESOME Easter, celebrating that HELLO! Jesus is ALIVE! Rock on!!!!!!

tchau for now....may God overwhelm you with HIM!
